How To Perform

Please follow these simple instructions carefully. We are a very small team pulling this off, so the easier you make it for us, the better and more impactful the whole stream will be, and the more we can keep on top of our busy lives.

1. Select Your Song: Selection spreadsheet here. Please ensure you have written your name beside the song(s) you’ve laid claim to in the song selection form and filled out the other columns to the best of your ability. Only choose one or two songs from the spreadsheet - no duplicate songs except in rare cases and by request only.

2. Fill Out The Confirmation Form: Form is here. Do this as soon as possible after step 1. This form is to confirm you understand everything & that I have your email address.

3. If Pre-taped, Upload Your Song By August 31st, 5 PM EST. In the weeks to come after you fill out the form in step 2, we will email you a link to a folder. Upload your video into that folder.

If In Person: Once you fill out the confirmation form, further planning will follow over email.

More Notes On Performing

- Backing tracks must be your own original backing track and not consist of original Queen/Freddie audio or any karaoke versions. We otherwise risk automated copywrite strikes that get the livestream blocked.
- Please refrain from wearing striped clothes or brand names in the video, unless the brand is musical in nature.
- Please refrain from explicitly advertising, or advertising other causes or events unless you have written permission from us. You can request such permission at fredathonfreddie@gmail.com
- Please don’t say anything that could be viewed as hate speech, or that condones violence.

PRE-TAPED VIDEO NOTES:​
- Video can be filmed as simply as with a phone, using phone audio, or as elaborately as you’d like.
- Please film in good lighting so the video ‘doesn’t look like a potato filmed it’.
- Please do not share the link to the video with anyone but us. These files are meant to be exclusive to Fredathon until after the stream.
- While we have yet to turn down a submission, we reserve the right to not use all performances submitted.

VIDEO UPLOAD INSTRUCTIONS: ​
- Again, video Submissions are required NO LATER than August 31st 2026 at 5 PM EST.
- Video must be submitted in MP4 Format, and be submitted in 1080x720 16:9 resolution.
- Title the file as follows: ‘SONG NAME - YOUR NAME’
- Ensure the video is exactly how you want it sent (If desired: trimmed, titles, mixing, etc). I will, ideally, not be editing the video afterwards.
- Each song you upload must be in its own video.
